No need! Our nem and chả are ready to eat straight from the fridge. In fact, they taste best when served cold – just unwrap and enjoy.
Do I need to reheat the nem and chả?

Yes – especially the chả, which is soft, mildly seasoned, and made with clean ingredients. For nem (fermented rolls), we recommend smaller portions or waiting until they're older, as it's naturally tangy and sometimes includes chili.

Is it suitable for children?
Keep them in the fridge (2–5°C) if you plan to eat within 5–7 days. For longer storage, freeze them – they’ll stay good for up to 30 days. When ready to eat, just thaw in the fridge or at room temperature.
How should I store the nem and chả?
Yes! Choose the frozen version and we’ll pack it carefully in insulated foam boxes. It stays fresh and tasty even after a long journey. Perfect for gifts or bringing a taste of Vietnam abroad.

Can I take it for long-distance travel?

A Letter from Grandma Nam’s Grandchild

Our family has been making nem and chả for three generations. From grandma, to mom, and now to us – the grandchildren continuing this craft not just out of tradition, but out of belief: that one good piece of chả, one perfect roll of nem, can fill a family meal and warm the heart of someone far from home.

Back in the 1990s, Grandma Nam began learning the craft. No teacher, no guide – just a wooden pestle and a deep love for chewy chả and tangy nem chua. She would rise early to choose the freshest pork leg, trim off the fat and tendons, and grind each batch by hand. Sometimes, just turning her back was enough for the meat to lose its elasticity. Some days, even after hours of work, the chả still wouldn’t set right. And nem? A little mistake in fermentation could ruin everything. But she kept going. Each batch better than the last. She failed, tried again, adjusted, and slowly mastered the process. Only when the chả sliced smooth and the nem smelled just right did she pass it down to our mom.

Mom kept the same recipe, but added a layer of care from the modern world. Cold-preservation technology to maintain freshness. A closed-loop production system with strict hygiene standards. And her golden rule: “3 No’s” – no borax, no artificial coloring, no preservatives. Every ingredient, from the meat to the wrapping leaves, is carefully sourced, clean, and traceable.

Now it’s our turn – the third generation. We’ve brought Nem chả Năm Diệu from Gia Lai to Đà Nẵng, staying true to its roots while refining it to match local tastes. This is more than food. It’s a dish to share, a gift from the heart, a simple, satisfying part of everyday life.
